Poustinik Br Martin’s Invitation to Get Involved

I invite those who have a heart for service and desire to encounter God in a unique way. If you would like to help renovate a garage into a chapel and a house into a poustinia, as well as beautifying the garden for a retreat. Then this is the perfect opportunity.

My goal is to provide a safe space where people can encounter God and develop a deeper prayer life.

St Josephs Poustinia is located just 50 minutes away from Berlin by car or train, at the entrance to Lübben Spreewald, surrounded by nature. Help me make this a reality by donating your time and expertise.

By volunteering, you will be instrumental in transforming this space into a sacred place of worship and contemplation.

No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and join me in this meaningful endeavour.

All tools and equipment will be provided, as well as meals.

Building and dedicating a chapel is essential to the essence of the Poustinia; without it being for God, what's the point ? This particular chapel is devoted to the Holy Face of Jesus and dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Mary. Embodying a beautiful devotion and the Protection of Our Holy Mother.
