Rule of Life and Charism

Charism

To Pray To Listen To Serve

At the heart and core of St. Josephs Poustinia's Charism is the profound devotion to the Holy Eucharist and the Holy Face of Jesus devotion from which springs the three principles,

Prayer, Listening, and Service.

Pray: To pray for my own salvation, the salvation of the world, and particularly for our Priests, Parish and the community that God has blessed me with.

Listening: To practice empathetic and attentive listening, tuning into the needs, concerns, and hopes of those we encounter, so that we may better understand and support them.

Service: To humbly serve as instruments of God's love and mercy, responding to the needs of our community by offering practical assistance, care, and compassion, especially to those who are most vulnerable and marginalised.
